We are seeking a passionate and committed professional to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Guildford on a one-year fixed-term contract.
The Role
You will teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and secure strong progress for all learners. You’ll work closely with the Faculty Lead and a dedicated team to promote excellent outcomes for students aged 11–16.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver outstanding Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, providing timely feedback
- Use data effectively to personalise learning and intervene to support progress
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and a positive learning environment
- Contribute to department and whole-school initiatives
We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to raising attainment and promoting a growth mindset
- Experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 (preferred but not essential for ECTs)
