The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging and interactive Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Teaching a range of topics within the Maths curriculum, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
- Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and ensure all learners are challenged and supported.
- Integrating technology and real-world applications into lessons to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Implementing effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress, provide feedback, and support students in achieving their academic goals.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and enhance the Maths curriculum, resources, and teaching materials.
- Participating in extracurricular activities, enrichment programs, and Maths-related initiatives to inspire students’ curiosity and passion for Mathematics.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3, 4, and/or 5.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics education.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
