Location: Clifton Moor, York Part-Time | 2528 Hours per Week Are you an experienced Payroll Administrator looking for a part-time role within a friendly, professional and supportive team?
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice, is looking for a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join their growing payroll team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, takes pride in delivering an accurate payroll service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Working with a varied portfolio of clients, you'll be responsible for processing payrolls from start to finish while ensuring compliance with HMRC and pension regulations.
You'll become a trusted point of contact for clients, providing a responsive and professional service while working closely with colleagues to deliver the highest standards.
What you'll be doing: Managing your own portfolio of payroll clients.
Processing weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
Submitting payroll information to HMRC and pension providers.
Advising clients on payroll-related liabilities and responding to payroll queries.
Building long-lasting relationships by providing an exceptional client experience.
Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring client information is kept up to date.
Prioritising your workload to consistently meet deadlines.
Supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge within the payroll team.
Identifying opportunities to provide additional value to clients where appropriate.
Keeping your payroll knowledge up to date through ongoing professional development.
What we're looking for: Previous payroll experience, ideally gained within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
A proactive, positive approach and excellent communication skills.
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Experience with payroll software such as IRIS would be an advantage.
