CNC Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a well-established and supportive engineering team in the Yeovil area. Pay: £38,500 (plus bonus scheme)
Location: Yeovil
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7am - 3:30pm, Friday 7am - 12pm
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of equipment and machinery
- Diagnose faults and identify root causes across electrical and mechanical systems
- Repair and replace defective components
- Conduct testing and performance checks on machinery and equipment
- Maintain and update CMMS records and maintenance history
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving activities
- Utilise predictive maintenance technologies to monitor equipment performance
- Assist junior technicians and provide support to small teams where required
- Maintain high housekeeping and 5S standards
- Follow all health and safety procedures and promote safe working practices
- Essential: Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience within an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems
- Ability to fault-find, analyse issues, and carry out repairs independently
- Competent using hand tools and specialist maintenance equipment
- Flexible to travel if required
