Morson Edge are currently seeking multiple Boundary Cell Co-Ordinators to join our client on a contracting basis to be based in Norway.
The Norwegian All-Weather Search and Rescue Helicopter (NAWSARH) in country GOLDesp Boundary Cell team shall be responsible for the birthing, tracking and integrity of all GOLDesp data to support the delivery of the NAWSARH contract. The Boundary Cell shall be made up of a multi-disciplined organisation operating at hierarchical levels appropriate to their role and at a sufficient level of authority in order to affect their responsibilities. This also includes a clear escalation path via the Boundary Cell M3 and Maintenance Manager for concerns needing expedient resolution in support of the Turkey Undertaking for the Support and Training Contract.
The Boundary Cell M2 is accountable to the Boundary Cell M3 for the delivery of the GOLDesp data to support the performance of the Aircraft. Provision elements of a multi-disciplined workforce at the 7 SAR operating bases in Norway. The bases are Sola, Orlans, Banak, Rygge, Bodo, Floro and Tromso and additionally the Main Support Base at Kongsberg Aircraft Maintenance Services (KAMS), in Kjeller. The team comprises of up to 70 personnel including subcontractors. The team delivers maintenance services on the NAWSAH AW101 aircraft as defined in the NAWSARH contract.
You will focus and direct your activities in support to the achievement of aircraft availability on a daily basis cognisant of maintenance activities, flying programmes and AOG demands.
KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Represent LUKL in discussions with the Customer
- Accountable to the Boundary Cell M3 and Maintenance Manager - Norway
- The initial creation of digital records for Tracked Items in GOLDesp (a process also known as "Capture" or "Birthing")
- The update of Tracked Item Records in GOLDesp upon leaving & returning to the Boundary.
- The updating of the Log Card (LG) both pre and post being sent for R & 0.
- The Remote Birthing of Tracked items when an item has been delivered direct from vendor to a Base.
- Ensure effective communications are maintained between you and the Maintenance Manager, relevant stakeholders and members of your team and ensure that strengths, opportunities, failures and threats to the business are reported in a timely manner
- Report all issues which are deemed as a risk to the Support and Training Contract requirements, to the Maintenance Manager
- Direct liaison with the Main Support Base (MSB), Base Maintenance and R2 Workshop Team
- Direct liaison with the Logistics Support Organisation
- Assist in the monitoring of the as maintained configuration of the SAR Helicopters Provide advice to the relevant parties
- Accountable to the Maintenance Manager
- Ensure all work is conducted in line with the Operating Procedures Manual (OPM) and Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE)
- To maintain a flexible approach to supporting the Ministry anywhere in Norway at short notice for extended periods of time and embrace irregular work patterns best suited to the Ministry's needs
- Continuous Improvements of the Boundary / logistics / documentation processes
- Be a GOLDesp Super User to provide in-country specialist advice
- Review GOLDesp data to provide reports when requested
- Represent LUK at meetings detailed in the NAWSARH contract
- You are responsible for taking reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work and to co-operate with managers, supervisors and others to enable the company to meet its statutory obligations for health, safety and environment.

- You should take responsibility for understanding the Code of Ethics - Core Instruction No. PER. 10.3 and making sure that you comply with it at all times whilst doing your job and, in particular, when acting for on behalf of LHUK.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE DIMENSIONS
- Be educated in a relevant aviation-related subject or have completed a recognised apprenticeship and have a technical background (desirable)
- Have an understanding of military rotary wing aviation procedures
- Have a knowledge of military aircraft maintenance and associated documentation, logistics and operational support
- Have experience of an aircraft maintenance or logistics information system
- Be able to communicate confidently
- Remain flexible and responsive to short notice customer requirements
- Flexibility to deal with changing priorities
- IT literate with all basic desktop applications and company standard software
