Staffline is recruiting for Line Leaders in Wrexham.
- The rate of pay is: - Days £13.74 per hour - Nights £15.04 per hour
- Overtime is available and is paid at: - Days £20.61 per hour - Nights £22.56 per hour
This is a full-time role, and the hours of work are: - 4 on 4 off, 6am to 6pm - 4 on 4 off 6pm to 6am
Your Time at Work
As a Line Leader your responsibility is to care for the staff in your team, to care for the product their team is making. Your main duties include:
- People management - motivation, organisation, delegation, leadership
- Product knowledge - materials, QAS sheets, line speeds, equipment, etc
- Operator training - competent team members in each role, GMP
- Company-minded - always looking for ways to improve
- Quality-minded - continuous monitoring of the team's production
- Effective administration of paperwork - process sheets, start-up sheets, etc
- Awareness of performance in relation to daily plan (time & quantity)
- Teamwork & flexibility - within department / shift and wider company.
- Communication
- with team members (direction, discipline, encouragement)
- with supervisors, managers (resources, information, problems)
- with peers (batch controllers, line techs, other line leaders)
- with other functions (QA, Packing, hygiene, personnel)
