We're looking for a reliable and focused Hygiene Operative to join our team in Wrexham .
You'll ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day hygiene operations to fulfil business/department needs and targets.
Our client is a professional yet friendly company that specialises in making and developing chilled meals for the top UK supermarkets, making over 3.7million chilled meals every week.
The rate of pay is: - Days £12.84 per hour - Nights £13.91 per hour
Overtime is available at this site and is paid at: - Days £19.26 per hour - Nights £20.87 per hour
This is a full-time role, working 4 on 4 off , 12-hour shifts. The hours of work are: - 06:00am to 18:00pm - 18:00pm to 06:00am
Your Time at Work
As a Hygiene Operative your key duties include
- Under the guidance of Manager / Supervisor, ensure that the production and external areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Carry out machine and equipment cleaning to high hygiene standards following correct policies and procedures in line with training.
- Ensure that any hygiene targets set by the Manager / Supervisor are met; or if this is not possible, shortfalls are reported to the relevant person in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and tidy area (work, changing room, canteen etc), meeting both safety and hygiene regulations of the site.
- Carry out training commensurate with the area, including regular refresher/update training as and when required.
- Report any equipment defects immediately to the Supervisor.
- Assist during internal/external audits as required.
- Adhere to all Company Rules and Policies.
- Maintain high levels of work performance, including attendance, timekeeping etc.
- Assist in loading and unloading of laundry and support in laundry and facilities cleaning activities

Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
