We are recruiting a Head Chef for a well-established food-led pub in Wrexham, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef to take the lead within a busy and welcoming operation, with live-in accommodation potentially available.

As Head Chef, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene while leading and developing the kitchen team.
As Head Chef you will:
Take overall responsibility for the kitchen operation
Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen brigade
Create and develop traditional British menus and daily specials
Ensure consistently high standards of food quality and presentation
Manage ordering, stock control, and food costs
Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
Ensure the kitchen is organised and fully prepared for service
Work closely with the management team to deliver a successful operation
Introduce new ideas and continue to develop the food offering
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or strong Senior Sous Chef within a busy pub, gastro pub, restaurant, or hotel environment.
You will be passionate about traditional British cooking, commercially aware, and confident leading a kitchen team.
The ability to maintain standards while working calmly under pressure is essential.
