Our client is currently searching for a Packaging / Manufacturing Technician to join their team in Worthing! This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing team, ensuring products are packaged efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate as a member of the packaging team in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Carry out packaging activities in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
  • Ensure all products are produced to required specifications and within set timeframes
  • Deliver planned output targets while maintaining quality and efficiency
  • Follow all site health and safety requirements at all times
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
  • Maintain clean, organised work areas in line with 5S standards
  • Keep training records up to date and complete required training
  • Adhere to strict timekeeping, including shift start/end times and breaks

Experience Required

  • GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) preferred
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Understanding of GMP or working within regulated environments is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to follow procedures and work accurately
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
