Workshop Engineer – Norfolk / Mildenhall £18.00 – £21.00 per hour + Overtime

NEOS Engineering are recruiting for an established construction machinery business looking to add an experienced Workshop Engineer to their engineering team based in the Norfolk / Mildenhall area .
This is a hands-on workshop role working on a modern fleet of excavators, telehandlers, rollers and associated construction plant .
The Role Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on construction plant.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
Complete planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
Prepare machinery for hire and customer delivery.
Carry out breakdown repairs and fault finding as required.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Ensure all machinery is maintained to a high standard.
Work closely with the wider engineering and operations teams.
About You We're looking for an experienced Workshop Engineer / Plant Fitter with a strong background working on construction machinery.
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience working on heavy plant or construction equipment .
Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience with excavators, telehandlers, rollers or similar machinery.
Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment.
Relevant plant engineering qualification is desirable but not essential.
Good attention to detail and a strong approach to health & safety.
Package £18.00 – £21.00 per hour , depending on experience.
Overtime available.
Ongoing training and development.
