In this role, you will receive full training to become a qualified Electrical Trainer, delivering practical and classroom-based learning to apprentices. You'll monitor learner progress, carry out assessments and reviews, work closely with employers, and provide coaching and support throughout each apprentice's programme. No previous teaching experience is required as full training and qualifications will be provided.

This role would suit an Electrical Engineer with a Level 3 qualification or above who is looking for a long-term career in education and training with excellent development opportunities and outstanding work-life balance.

The Role:

  • Deliver Electrical Engineering training to apprentices
  • Assess practical competency and coursework against apprenticeship standards
  • Carry out learner progress reviews with apprentices and employers
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and ongoing learner support
  • Develop and update training materials and lesson plans
  • Gain recognised teaching and assessing qualifications through full company-funded training

The Person:

  • Level 3 qualification (or above) in Electrical Engineering
  • Industry experience within Electrical Engineering
