Trainee Recruitment Consultant (Driving Division) Worcester | Full-Time | Pure Staff Ltd Looking to start a career in recruitment with a company that actually invests in its people?

Pure Staff is looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our established Driving Division.

You'll become part of a close-knit team of experienced recruiters responsible for supplying approximately 200 professional drivers every day to a portfolio of long-standing customers across the UK.

No two days are ever the same.

What you'll be doing: This is a genuine trainee opportunity with full training and guidance provided from day one.

Working alongside experienced Managers and Consultants, you'll learn every aspect of temporary Driving recruitment, including: Building strong relationships with our customers and taking their daily staffing requirements.

Matching available drivers to bookings and confirming assignments.

Speaking with drivers throughout the day to ensure they understand their bookings, know where they're going, and have everything they need to succeed.

Recruiting new HGV and commercial Van drivers through advertising, job board searches, interviews and candidate engagement to maintain a constant pipeline of talent.

Completing thorough compliance checks including Right to Work, driving licence verification and Modern Slavery checks using our digital compliance platforms.

Helping ensure our customers receive the high levels of service they're accustomed to from Pure Staff.

What makes this role different?

Unlike many recruitment agencies: No cold calling sales.

We have a dedicated Sales Department that wins new business.

No payroll processing.

We have specialist Payroll and Accounts teams who handle this for you.

Instead, your focus is on delivering an outstanding service to both our customers and driver workforce.

About the team You'll be joining an experienced, supportive team where collaboration comes first.

Most of the Worcester team have been with Pure Staff for several years, and you'll work alongside Managers with decades of recruitment experience who have successfully developed numerous trainees into Senior Consultants and Managers.

Nobody succeeds on their own here, we help each other, share knowledge and celebrate success together.

The environment This is not a quiet office job.

It's a busy, energetic and sometimes chaotic environment where phones are constantly ringing, priorities can change in minutes and teamwork is everything.

If you enjoy being organised, thinking on your feet and thrive in a fast-moving workplace, you'll love it. 24/7 on call rota and Normal Office Hours Our customers operate around the clock, so once you've successfully completed your training, you'll join our shared 24/7 on-call rota (usually 2 to 4 weeks after starting).

The responsibility is rotated fairly across the team, with detailed handovers provided and management support accessible to ensure you're fully prepared before taking over the phone.

Normal office hours are 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday (with a one-hour break for lunch) and 08:00 to 16:00 Friday (with a half hour break for lunch).

Salary / Commission / Bonus This position of Trainee Recruitment Consultant is paid at £30,000 PA.

Following successful completion of probation or entry onto the on-call rota, you'll become eligible for our team-based commission scheme.

Rather than competing against your colleagues, everyone shares in the success of the team.

Your commission is based on the performance of the Driving Division as a whole because we believe recruitment is a team sport.

Your commission is simple and easy to calculate, you will be paid a static percentage of the division earnings.

All earnings are published transparently across the business each Friday by our Finance Director.

We're looking for someone who is: Positive, resilient and eager to learn.

Comfortable speaking to people all day on the telephone.

Highly organised with good attention to detail.

Able to work well under pressure and adapt quickly.

Happy working in a busy office environment.

Committed to providing excellent customer service.

Able to participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota following probation.

Previous recruitment experience isn't necessary, we'll teach you that.

Driving Licence preferred but not essential.

What we can't teach is attitude, work ethic and the willingness to get stuck in.

If you're looking for a long-term career rather than just another job, we'd love to hear from you.
