Role Intro: We are searching for an experienced Project Manager to coordinate, monitor and ensure cost-effective and efficient delivery of projects across the Group, supporting Technology improvements and efficiencies for the benefit of all customers. Reporting to the Lead Technology Project Manager, you will oversee and manage projects throughout the project lifecycle through the effective control and utilisation of resources (including budgets), to ensure the achievement of the objectives in line with the Technology strategy and business plan.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Technology support teams and business users to manage and deliver Technology improvement projects that effectively resolve identified business issues or provide new business solutions to support Technology users.
• Support the delivery of solutions that meet customer needs, working with internal and external stakeholders to project manage the implementation of service and product improvements that meet the current and future needs of Technology customers and liaising effectively with suppliers as necessary.
• Assist with the delivery of new and integration of existing Technology systems/applications, including effective appraisal of new technologies and their suitability to meet the future needs of the Group.
• Support the provision of high-quality management information to the Senior Technology Management Team on project progress and issues to support ongoing operational planning and delivery of anticipated Technology service improvements.
• Work closely with colleagues in relation to scoping and evaluation of projects and also with key stakeholders to ensure their requirements are effectively met.

Experience:

• Proven experience in working with others to deliver projects, including indirect reports and third-party suppliers.
• Proven experience of using project planning tools to effectively manage projects.
• Proven experience of producing progress reports and management information, including making recommendations for changes needed to ensure delivery.
• Proven experience in developing solutions in line with business strategies, whilst meeting business and user needs.
• Excellent communication and understanding of written and spoken English.
