We are searching for an experienced Programme Manager to develop and manage effective delivery of a portfolio of projects, programmes and products, ensuring cost efficiency and enabling business transformation for the benefit of all customers, in line with Group objectives. Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager, you will manage up to 5 direct reports in successfully delivering business change programmes and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and control of Technology project management processes to achieve project efficiencies and cost reductions, undertaking comprehensive project reviews to identify improvements.
- Oversee business critical projects throughout the project lifecycle to ensure the achievement of the objectives, in line with the Technology strategy and business plan.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to agree the scope, benefits and delivery of proposed solutions across a portfolio of projects and products, to ensure they meet the current and future needs and expectations of customers.
- Provide high quality management information to the Senior Technology Management Team on project progress and issues to support ongoing operational planning and delivery of anticipated Technology service improvements.
- Coordinate the delivery and resource planning of Technology projects and programmes to deliver business change efficiently to the Group.
Experience:
- Proven experience of managing and successfully delivering business change programmes and projects, with an understanding of a full project life cycle.
- Comprehensive experience of the practical use of programme and resource planning tools to effectively manage multiple projects.
- Comprehensive experience of managing large scale Technology projects.
- Proven experience in developing solutions in line with business strategies, whilst meeting business and user needs.
- Proven experience in working with others to deliver projects, including indirect reports and third party suppliers.
- Proven experience of successfully managing business change.
- Excellent understanding of written and spoken English.
- Experience of SAP product suite is desirable.
