We are looking for a Client Care Assistant (CCA) to join our team at Knaphill Vets. As one of Surrey's newest and fastest-growing veterinary practices, we're proud of the supportive and growing team we've built, the continuity of care we provide and the trusted relationships we've developed with pets and their owners. You'll be joining a welcoming environment where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both our clients and colleagues whilst helping to shape the future of the practice.

As part of Kin Vet Community, a small collective of like-minded community veterinary practices, we benefit from the support, shared expertise and collaborative approach that comes from working alongside teams who share our commitment to exceptional veterinary care. Whilst every practice retains its own culture, leadership and way of working, being part of Kin Vet creates greater opportunities to learn from one another, invest in our people and facilities, and continue evolving the services we provide to pets and their owners.

As a Client Care Assistant, you will be a vital part of our front-of-house team, providing a warm, friendly and professional welcome to every client and their pet. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, helping to create an outstanding experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Working closely with our veterinary surgeons, nurses and wider team, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional customer care and ensuring every client feels supported throughout their pet's journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming clients and their pets into the practice with a friendly and professional approach
  • Managing incoming calls, emails and client enquiries
  • Booking appointments and supporting the smooth running of the diary
  • Providing excellent customer service and building trusted relationships with clients
  • Processing payments and supporting financial queries
  • Maintaining accurate client and patient records
  • Supporting the clinical team with administration tasks
  • Keeping the reception area welcoming, organised and efficient
  • Providing reassurance and guidance to clients when they need it most

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, approachable and passionate about delivering excellent client care
  • Confident communicating with clients face-to-face and over the phone
  • Organised, reliable and able to manage a busy workload
  • A team player who enjoys supporting colleagues
  • Compassionate and understanding when dealing with clients and their pets
  • Enthusiastic about working within a veterinary environment

Previous experience in a veterinary practice, reception, customer service, hospitality, retail or another client-facing role would be beneficial, but we are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, passion and commitment to providing exceptional care.

At Knaphill Vets, we believe in creating a practice where our team feels valued, supported and able to make a difference. We are passionate about delivering high-quality veterinary care while maintaining the personal touch and strong relationships that make independent practices special.

Joining Kin Vet Community means becoming part of a wider network of teams who share ideas, support one another and continue to develop the future of community veterinary care. If you are looking for a rewarding role where you can combine your love of animals with your passion for helping people, we would love to hear from you.
