Team Leader
Hourly Rate - £14.87 per hour (plus benefits)
Hours - 45 hours per week, 7:45am to 5:15pm, Thursday to Monday. This role includes regular weekend working.

As a Team Leader at FCC Environment, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the Household Waste Recycling Centre. Working alongside the Site Operations Supervisor, you will help lead the site team, promote a safe and efficient working environment, deliver excellent customer service, and contribute to achieving high recycling and environmental standards.

What will you be doing?
- Supporting the Site Operations Supervisor with the safe and efficient running of the HWRC.
- Supervising and supporting site employees to ensure operational targets are achieved.
- Promoting a positive health and safety culture and ensuring site procedures are always followed.
- Monitoring housekeeping standards, waste storage areas, and recycling activities.
- Ensuring body cameras and name badges are worn in accordance with site requirements.
- Coordinating bin changes, compacting activities and completing operational records.
- Assisting with staff coordination, training and day-to-day operational issues.
- Reporting and investigating accidents, incidents and near misses where required.
- Delivering excellent customer service and assisting residents with recycling and reuse opportunities.
- Identifying opportunities to improve site performance, safety and customer experience.
