Exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to work for an established company situated in Witney. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a Catering Assistant and will be able to work immediately.
Hours/Details:
- Monday to Friday 07:30am to 15:00pm
- Temp to perm
- Week days - £13.45 per hour
- Weekends - £15 per hour
- Immediate start
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, in particular HACCP regulations
- Checking in of food deliveries ensures that only the highest standard of produce is accepted into the units.
- Ensuring that all food storage complies with food hygiene regulations and that F.I.F.O stock rotation system is being followed
- Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture
- Preparation of service area and/or service points
- Correct storage of food items and equipment after service
- Assist in other unit kitchen onsite during quieter periods in hospitality
- Maintain personal hygiene, appearance and uniform to company regulations at all times
- Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s health and safety policy
- Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
Requirements:
- To work to a timescale as agreed with you and your Supervisor/Manager
- Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety practices
- To act in a professional manner at all times
- Be honest, reliable and hard working
- Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills
- Be eligible to work in the UK
