Overview - Technical

Manager: Due to internal progression, a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Technical Manager has arisen.

This is your chance to join a large food manufacturing site undergoing significant investment and transformation at the senior leadership level.

You'll lead the site's technical function, driving food safety, compliance and continuous improvement while developing a high-performing team and influencing standards across the factory.

Responsibilities for the

Technical

Manager: Lead and develop the Technical team.

Manage the site's Quality Management System.

Drive food safety, quality and compliance standards.

Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.

Partner with operations to improve quality performance.

Manage quality budgets and support improvement projects.

Contribute to site-wide continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements for the

Technical

Manager: Degree qualified in a Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or related discipline.

Technical leadership experience within food manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of food safety, auditing and quality systems.

Experience leading and developing teams.

Continuous improvement mindset.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
