We are working with a fantastic Winsford based company who are looking to recruit a Group HR Advisor. If you are a CIPD qualified HR professional who wants to work for a company that year on year has continued to grow, then this could be the perfect role for you. The successful candidate will support the company's HR Function in line with all business requirements. Covering many different aspects of the HR sector this is a very hands-on role with a variety of duties and responsibilities.

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Managing Director you will oversee the smooth running of the HR department to ensure the business complies with the latest employment law legislation and best practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To be the first point of contact for HR issues across 5 regional offices to provide a comprehensive HR service travelling to the regional offices regularly.
  • Ensuring adherence to employment law and advising line managers on policies and procedures.
  • Supporting managers with complete end to end recruitment process including Company induction for new starters ensuring all log-ins/equipment is ready for start date.
  • Prepare all Offer letters and Contracts of Employment.
  • Handling employee relation matters including, but not limited to disciplinary investigations, grievance, absence, performance management and exit interviews.
  • Advise on all GDPR matters.
  • Research, organise and deliver training resources and establish a new apprenticeship programme.
  • Additional HR related duties as and when required.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive experience in a HR environment.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the UK.
  • Strong employment law knowledge.
  • Relationship building skills.
  • Approachable.
  • Practical and solutions focussed.
  • Problem solver.
  • Have a sensible approach to issues.
  • Qualified to CIPD Level 5 or above.
  • Be able to travel to the different sites based in North West, Midlands and the South.

PACKAGE:

  • Working Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm.
  • £32,000 - £38,000 dependent on experience.
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Health and well being programme.
  • Christmas shutdown.
  • Onsite parking.
