About You

  • Excellent communication skills, confident and highly motivated.
  • An understanding of measuring, planning, costing, and knowledge of flooring and bed types would be an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given.
  • Car driver essential.
  • Computer literate, ideally in Word, Excel, Microsoft 365.
  • First Aid trained in the workplace would be an advantage, although training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Share administration, housekeeping, and daily operational tasks.
  • Answer phones promptly and greet customers professionally.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist with purchases.
  • Schedule estimator visits (Mon-Thurs, Sat; Newbury also Fri).
  • Process deliveries, maintain records, and manage paper trail.
  • Contact customers regarding arrivals and coordinate fitting schedules.
  • Chase outstanding payments daily and process in FRS.
  • Complete daily GRN audit and end of day sales reports.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, security, and presentation standards.
  • Support stock management and control.
  • Assist team with all aspects of store operations affecting business profitability.
