Our client, one of the UK's fastest growing fast-fit automotive businesses, is currently looking for a Vehicle Technician based at their retail centre in Wimborne. As a Vehicle Technician, you would be responsible for reviewing work on customers' vehicles, completing a wide range of fast fit mechanical work and light and full-service work. You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role; our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

Location: Wimborne

Pay / salary: £30,000 - £35,000, dependent on experience

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 - 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:

Light and full-service work
Fast fit duties such as replacing and repairing brakes, exhausts, car batteries, suspension parts
Operating precision wheel alignment machinery, interpreting readings, and completing accurate adjustments
Carrying out precise tyre diagnostics, fast-fit replacements, and repairs across various vehicle makes
Working with the rest of the workshop to achieve targets
Work as a team with the other Vehicle Technicians

To be a Vehicle Technician you will need:

Valid UK driving licence (Essential)
Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
A passion for the Automotive industry and a desire to develop further
A willingness to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
