Are you an experienced Practice Accountant ready to take ownership of a client portfolio and step into a more senior, client-focused role? We're recruiting for an established and growing accountancy practice looking for a confident Client Director / Senior Accountant to join their team in Ferndown.
The Role
You'll manage your own portfolio of clients while overseeing a small team and ensuring a consistently high level of service. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing a portfolio of clients
- Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
- Ensuring accounts and VAT returns are completed on time
- Attending new client meetings and preparing quotes
- Allocating workloads and monitoring deadlines
- Supervising, mentoring and training junior team members
- Building strong, long-term client relationships
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' accountancy practice experience
- AAT, ACCA or ACA qualified/part-qualified
- Strong knowledge of accounts and taxation
- Confident managing client relationships
- Comfortable supervising a small team
- Organised, accurate and commercially minded
Package: £32,500 basic + commission – £45,000 OTE. Plus 25 days' holiday + bank holidays, study support, pension, duvet days, staff incentives, discounted gym membership, company events, on-site parking and regular staff breakfasts/lunches.
