Are you a Quality Inspector, looking to join a specialist manufacturer where you'll play a key role in maintaining quality standards across precision-engineered components? Do you enjoy conducting goods in and out inspections and are looking for an exciting opportunity where you'll be trained in CMM Programming?

The company is a leading manufacturer of high-performance valves for demanding industrial and subsea applications. This is an excellent opportunity for an Inspector to join the Quality team, taking responsibility for inspection activities, CMM programming and supporting continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

The Role:

  • Carry out incoming, in-process and final inspection of precision-engineered components
  • Program and operate CMM equipment for dimensional inspection
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and GD&T tolerances
  • Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, bore gauges and height gauges
  • Calibrate and maintain inspection and measurement equipment
  • Identify, record and report product non-conformances
  • Work with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to drive continuous improvement

The Person:

  • Experience as an Inspector
  • Experience with verniers, callipers, bore gauges
