We are looking for a Structural Designer to be based in Warrington on a hybrid basis.
We are looking for people who are passionate about developing themselves and in meeting new challenges are now recruiting for a Structural Designer to support the projects.
BPSS clearance is required for this role.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivering design work, inspections and construction site support on a major infrastructure project.
Concept and Feasibility studies for multi discipline design projects.
Analysis and Design using engineering software such as STAAD, Tekla and TEDDS as well as producing hand calculations.
Preparation of Calculations, CDM activities, Basis of Design, Material Specifications, Scopes of Work, Technical reports, Inter discipline design coordination and supervision.
Assisting and mentoring team members to promote their technical and professional development.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
A degree qualified (BEng or MEng), Civil / Structural Engineer
Experience in the design of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork
Knowledge of seismic design requirements for waste storage / processing plant
Knowledge and use of BIM packages
Experience in preparation of deliverables for early-stage constructability assessments and HAZOPs
Knowledge of structural aspects of underground/ above ground services diversions
