About the role

The Junior CGI Artist supports the creation of high-quality, photo realistic CGI assets for DFS Group's websites and marketing channels, using a combination of traditional 3D technology and AI tools. Working from 3D models, you'll develop assets to a production-ready standard, adding product details and ensuring accurate lighting, materials, textures and composition. You'll use 3DS Max, render farm workflows and Photoshop automation to produce high-quality renders efficiently. You'll also create high-volume AI lifestyle content from stylist mood boards, ensuring products remain accurate, consistent and on-brand across all channels.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Setting up product scenes with lighting, materials, environments and composition.
  • Running and monitoring renders using Backburner and render farm tools.
  • Organising and uploading CGI assets, keeping files and naming conventions accurate.
  • Using Photoshop to retouch, colour correct and prepare final images.
  • Using AI tools to create high-quality lifestyle and social content.
  • Ensuring all work is visually consistent, accurate and meets production standards.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in the use of 3DS Max
  • Experience with V-Ray
  • Experience with Photoshop
  • Works well with an inter-disciplinary team
  • Great communication skills

Don't let it discourage you if you don't have all of this experience, it's a guideline that will help you hit the ground running. If the role sounds like it would be a great fit for you and you're confident that it suits you, we'd love you to apply.
