About the role
The Junior CGI Artist supports the creation of high-quality, photo realistic CGI assets for DFS Group's websites and marketing channels, using a combination of traditional 3D technology and AI tools. Working from 3D models, you'll develop assets to a production-ready standard, adding product details and ensuring accurate lighting, materials, textures and composition. You'll use 3DS Max, render farm workflows and Photoshop automation to produce high-quality renders efficiently. You'll also create high-volume AI lifestyle content from stylist mood boards, ensuring products remain accurate, consistent and on-brand across all channels.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Setting up product scenes with lighting, materials, environments and composition.
- Running and monitoring renders using Backburner and render farm tools.
- Organising and uploading CGI assets, keeping files and naming conventions accurate.
- Using Photoshop to retouch, colour correct and prepare final images.
- Using AI tools to create high-quality lifestyle and social content.
- Ensuring all work is visually consistent, accurate and meets production standards.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience in the use of 3DS Max
- Experience with V-Ray
- Experience with Photoshop
- Works well with an inter-disciplinary team
- Great communication skills
