Are you an ACA or ACCA-qualified auditor looking for greater responsibility, a varied client portfolio and clear opportunities to progress? Due to continued growth and expansion, one of the North West's leading independent accountancy practices is looking to appoint an Audit Senior to its Warrington team, paying £40,000 - £45,000. You'll take responsibility for a portfolio spanning corporate SMEs, charities and academies, completing assignments with the support of an experienced management team.

Audit Senior Responsibilities:

  • Managing audit assignments from planning through to completion under Manager supervision.
  • Taking day-to-day responsibility for a varied portfolio of audit clients.
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts.
  • Leading audit teams and coordinating work during client assignments.
  • Reviewing audit work completed by junior colleagues.
  • Identifying audit risks and escalating technical matters where appropriate.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process.
  • Coaching and providing ongoing training to junior members of the team.
  • Ensuring assignments are delivered accurately, efficiently and within agreed deadlines.
