We are now looking for a Warehouse Section Leader to join us on a full-time, permanent basis at our Widnes site (WA8 0ZU), working 22:00 to 06:30, Monday to Saturday morning.

The Role
As a Warehouse Section Leader, you'll play a key role in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly at our Widnes site. Leading a team of operatives, you'll make sure that every shift runs efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards and procedures. Day-to-day, you'll oversee workflow, delegate tasks, and ensure staff are briefed, supported, and performing to high standards whilst ensuring that all activities are carried out safely and in compliance with company and customer requirements.
Additionally, you will:
- Manage staff performance, attendance, and conduct in line with company procedures
- Ensure consistent 5S compliance and promote safe working practices
- Handle communication between management and team members
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Carry out equipment checks and escalate any safety or operational concerns
About You
To be considered as a Section Leader, you will need:
- Team leadership and/or supervision experience from a logistics or production background
- Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A full counterbalance forklift truck licence
