What you’ll do:
- Supporting customers with day-to-day tasks, promoting independent living in the community through a combination of community-based and in-service support.
- Encouraging independence and celebrating wins.
- Creating a safe, positive space where dignity and respect come first.
- Working collaboratively to empower our customers.
- Homelessness service (large 50 bed service).

You have:
- Passion to support our customers to live their best lives.
- Experience of caring for others, professionally or personally.
- The ability to work on your own initiative, staying calm and positive under pressure.
- Recognise every customer is different and adopt a flexible, personal approach, listening to understand their needs.
- A Level 2 diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or willing to study towards it).

The practical bits:
- Week 1: 7:00am to 3:00pm (short week due to weekend working).
- Week 2: 11:00am to 7:00pm.
- Week 3: 9:00am to 5:00pm, with one weekend in every three worked as 12-hour shifts.
- You’ll work as part of a team of six full-time Support Workers.
- You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay).
- You need to be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle insured for business purposes.
