About the Person You’ll Support: We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to provide person-centred support to an individual living in Dorchester, just a short walk from the Town Centre. The person you will be supporting is a friendly and independent gentleman who has a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome and depressive disorder. He has a great sense of humour, enjoys character impressions, and likes engaging with others through shared interests and conversation. He is able to carry out many aspects of daily living independently, including cooking, household tasks, and personal care. Your role will focus on providing encouragement and guidance with medication management, emotional wellbeing, social opportunities, and maintaining safe online interactions.
