About Us
Bosworth Care Home has been part of the Weymouth community since 1988. Now under new management and benefiting from significant investment, the home has never looked better. As a Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting residents to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. No two days are the same, but your responsibilities will include:
- Person-centred care: supporting residents with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and oral care while promoting independence and choice
- Care planning: contributing to care reviews to ensure support plans reflect individual needs
- Medication support: administering medication safely and in line with procedures
- Activities & companionship: taking part in social activities, outings, and meaningful engagement within the home
- Team support: helping new or existing colleagues through shadowing and teamwork, and supporting the smooth running of the home when required
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK, please note: Under new guidance we are unable to accept skilled or student visas
- Caring, positive, and reliable individuals
- Previous care experience preferred as this is a night role, however fully funded training is provided
Opportunity Available:
- Day Care Assistant - maternity cover: 30 hours per week, 8am to 8pm on a two-week rolling rota to include working alternate weekends
- Bank Care Assistant - to work as and when required to include day, night and weekend shifts - this is a zero hour contract
