A well-established commercial vehicle recovery and fleet services business is looking for an experienced HGV Commercial Technician to join their workshop team.

This is a varied role working across the company's own fleet, customer vehicles on planned maintenance schedules and occasional retail repair work.

The business operates a busy workshop environment and is looking for a reliable technician with solid hands-on HGV experience.

HGV Technician - The Role
Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on HGVs and commercial vehicles.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.

Complete MOT inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT.

Carry out road tests where required.

Work on the company's own fleet as well as customer vehicles.

Occasionally deal directly with customers in a professional manner.

Maintain a safe, tidy and efficient workshop environment.

HGV Technician - About You
Experienced HGV / Commercial Vehicle Technician.

Time-served or professionally qualified.

Good knowledge of hydraulics, electrics and vehicle diagnostics.

Strong experience in servicing, repairs and fault finding.

Experience with MOT inspections and MOT preparation.

Polite, punctual and reliable.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Clean driving licence preferred, although certain endorsements may be considered.
