Digital Print Operative
Location: Biggin Hill
Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour DOE
Pin Point Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting for a Digital Print Operative on behalf of a leading print manufacturer in Biggin Hill. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and well-established production team.
The Role
Process and prepare work received from the repro and print departments.
Ensure jobs are correctly sized and the appropriate correction curves are applied.
Carry out quality checks to ensure all work meets customer and job specifications.
Maintain workflow in line with the production schedule.
Report major production issues to the Supervisor or Manager.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues to minimise downtime.
Perform routine maintenance in accordance with manufacturers recommendations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Select the correct media profiles and RIP jobs ready for printing (training can be provided where required).
Requirements
Previous experience within a print production environment.
Thorough understanding of print production practices and processes.
Experience with HP Flatbed, Agfa and/or EFI Vutek equipment is desirable but not essential.
Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Reliable, trustworthy, and conscientious approach to work.
Flexible team player with a positive attitude.
