This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with a background in mixed tax, corporate tax, or private client work to join a growing Property Tax team, working exclusively on advisory projects. No prior property tax experience is needed - you'll be supported with structured training while building on the skills you already have. My client are hiring across all levels from Assistant Manager, Manager, Senior Manager and Associate Director who are keen to specialise.
You'll gain exposure to a broad client base including owner-managed businesses, corporate groups, property clients and high-net-worth individuals, with a focus on SDLT, VAT on land and property, and capital allowances.
Accountabilities- Support delivery of property tax advisory work, including SDLT, VAT and capital allowances, under senior guidance.
- Assist with tax due diligence, transaction support and documentation review on property and corporate deals.
- Prepare draft technical notes, advice letters and client-facing documentation for review.
- Build property tax knowledge through structured training and on-the-job learning.
- Liaise with clients and professional contacts as part of wider project teams.
- Support senior colleagues with research and technical queries.
- Begin identifying tax planning opportunities and risks under supervision.
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-quality team culture.
- ATT/CTA part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience, with a background in mixed tax, corporate tax, or private client tax.
- No property tax experience required - training provided, though beneficial.
- Strong technical grounding in at least one core tax discipline.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to build a career in property tax advisory.
