We're looking for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about delivering an outstanding payroll and benefits experience for our employees. As our Payroll and Benefits Administrator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while delivering a seamless benefits experience. Acting as a trusted point of contact, you'll provide a high-quality service, support employee wellbeing, and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. This role is advertised as a fixed term contract for up to a period of 12 months.

What will you be doing?

  • End-to-end processing of two Casual payrolls (50-500 employees) using Workday.
  • Accurate process payroll inputs, ensuring employee data, pay elements, deductions and benefits are maintained and updated in line with payroll deadlines.
  • Administer employee benefits schemes, including pension arrangements.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee payroll and benefits enquiries for the FA Council/Council Payrolls, providing timely and professional support.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, pension legislation, GDPR and internal policies and procedures.
  • Assist with Staff and Credit Card Expenses.
  • Execute additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained.

What are we looking for?

Essential for the role:

  • Experience of running end-to-end payrolls of up to 500 employees.
  • Manual tax calculation understanding.
  • Knowledge of Auto Enrolment pension.
  • Good stakeholder, people management, problem-solving and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in payroll.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills, especially Excel (Pivots and VLOOKUPS).
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.

Beneficial to have:

  • Experience using Workday Payroll.
  • Employee benefits knowledge.
  • In-house payroll experience.
  • Understanding of payroll interfaces, data imports and data validation processes.
  • Experience processing expenses.
