Type: Full-Time, Permanent Work Lyf Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Class 1 HGV Tramper Driver to join a busy and growing transport operation based in Welshpool.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver who enjoys working independently and is comfortable spending nights away from home while delivering exceptional service to customers throughout the UK.

The Role As a Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for operating curtain-sided vehicles on nationwide routes, ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and on time.

The role involves regular nights out and occasional weekend and Bank Holiday working.

Key Responsibilities Carry out nationwide Class 1 curtain-sided deliveries and collections.

Ensure all loads are secured safely and transported in line with regulations.

Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.

Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records.

Deliver excellent customer service at all delivery and collection points.

Adhere to Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive requirements, and company policies.

Keep vehicles clean, presentable, and roadworthy.

Working Hours Monday to Friday Regular tramping throughout the week Occasional weekends and Bank Holiday working as required Requirements Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.

Current Driver CPC qualification.

Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Previous curtain sider experience preferred.

Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.

Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.

Pay & Benefits £13.83 per hour for the first 9 hours worked each day. £18.00 per hour for all hours worked after 9 hours. £30 night out allowance.

Full-time, permanent position.
