We are working with a reputable client based in Wellingborough (NN8) who require a
Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer, with strong knowledge in Auto CAD and providing customer quotations / cost estimates.
Key
Responsibilities:
Optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Produce accurate quotations and cost estimates for customer enquiries.
Create and amend technical drawings using Auto CAD.
Work with DXF files and prepare designs for manufacture.
Use nesting software to maximise material yields and minimise waste.
Provide technical support to the sales team and customers.
Liaise with production to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
Calculate material requirements, production times, and manufacturing yields.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
Key
Requirements:
Experience in a Manufacturing, Process, Production or Mechanical Engineering role.
Proficient in Auto CAD and working with DXF files.
Experience using CAD/CAM or nesting software (e. g.
Lantek, Sigma NEST, RADAN or similar).
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and material optimisation.
Experience producing technical quotations or manufacturing estimates is highly desirable.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
Strong communication skills with the ability to support both customers and internal teams.
