Are you a Junior Maintenance Engineer, or similar with any electrical or mechanical experience on production machinery, looking to join a company offering excellent training, overtime, flexitime, and the opportunity to develop your skills on a wide range of specialist production equipment?

On offer is the opportunity to join an established food manufacturing business supplying products across the UK. You will receive hands-on training while assisting with reactive and pre-planned maintenance across electrical, mechanical and site services equipment.

In this varied role, you will support breakdown repairs, planned maintenance, machinery fault finding, general site maintenance, and the upkeep of site services including lighting, heating, electrical reticulation, and air systems. You will work closely with senior engineers, production teams, contractors, and suppliers while supporting safe working practices and helping to minimise downtime.

This role would suit a Junior Maintenance Engineer with an interest in electrical and mechanical maintenance who is looking for a Monday to Friday role, overtime, flexitime, training, and the chance to develop within a food manufacturing environment.

The Role:
  • Reactive and pre-planned maintenance across production machinery and site equipment
  • Fault finding on machinery, with training on specialist production equipment
  • Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, with flexitime and overtime available
The Person:
  • Junior Maintenance Engineer or similar background in mechanical & electrical engineering with an interest in manufacturing and production
  • Full UK Driving Licence and commutable to Wellingborough
