Hygiene Area Manager Department: Hygiene
Hours of Work: 06.00 to 15.00
Flexibility will be required.
Salary: £13.49 Per hour
Reporting to Technical Department
As Area Manager you will Lead the hygiene team during the required shift, providing knowledge in relation to methods of cleaning to drive continuous improvement. The Role Support the Operations team in relation to hygiene requirements and best practice.
Management of daily tasks to ensure Food Safety and Integrity is maintained at all times in relation to hygiene and GMP.
Play active part in promoting and maintaining the Food Integrity culture.
Verify hygiene operatives competency on shift.
Ensuring the hygiene cleaning schedule is adhered to.
Management of day-to-day tasks completed by hygiene operatives.
Investigating and responding to hygiene related non-conformance in line with relevant procedures.
Support with investigations into any out of specification food contact or environmental swab fails.
Planning and management of cleaning factory equipment including but not limited to tins, racks and frames.
Support Shift Managers with non-conformance investigations where required.
Monitor all hygiene consumables on site and escalate appropriately for replenishment stock.
Provide support to the operations team during customer visits and audits.
Maintenance of hygiene traceability documentation including the presentation of hygiene traceability to Customers and 3rd party auditors where necessary.
Attending Tier 1 meetings.
Investigate any hygiene related down time on the shift.
Provide hands on support to the hygiene team ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
