Pertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Night Drivers for ongoing work based in Northampton. Whether you're an experienced driver or have recently passed your Class 2 test, this is an excellent opportunity to secure regular work with competitive rates of pay and a flexible working pattern.
Location: Northampton
Shift Pattern: Any 5 days from 7
Start Times: Between 15:30 and 18:00
The Role
- Completing multi-drop deliveries across the region
- Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time
- Loading and unloading deliveries where required
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Maintaining high levels of customer service
- Adhering to Driver Hours regulations and company procedures
Pay Rates
- £19.93 per hour
- £24.54 per hour Saturday & Sunday
- £14.64 shift premium paid per shift
Requirements
- A valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Newly passed drivers are welcome to apply
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No CU, DD, DR or TT endorsements
- A professional and reliable attitude to work
- Good communication and customer service skills
