HGV Class 1 Driver - Raunds, Northamptonshire
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Raunds, Northamptonshire .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work throughout the year, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression, including the potential for a permanent position.
This role would suit an experienced LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver looking for a stable position with consistent work and excellent earning potential.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
Start Times: Between 04:00 and 07:00
Pay Rate:
£16.75 per hour basic | £21.78 per hour overtime after nine hours

Day-to-Day Duties:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver , your duties will include:
Depot-to-depot trunking routes
Trailer swaps
Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures and delivery schedules
Completing all relevant paperwork accurately
Essential Skills:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
A valid GB Category CE driving licence
A minimum of two years' experience drivng Category CE vehicles
No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
A valid CPC Card
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
Good spoken and written English
Desirable Experience:
Previous commercial driving experience
Experience completing trunking routes and trailer swaps
Training:
Driver assessment required prior to starting
Industry-related training provided
Ongoing support and development
