Temp-ongoing (potential perm for the right candidate) Quest Employment are currently hiring for Reach Truck Drivers for our client in Wellingborough (NN8).
Role Overview Responsible for loading and unloading trailers safely and efficiently while ensuring loading accuracy, maximising trailer space and maintaining full digital documentation throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities Loading Load customer collection vehicles.
Load double- and triple-deck trailers.
Maximise trailer space safely.
Ensure correct weight distribution.
Scan loaded orders using tablets and handheld scanners.
Photograph completed loads as part of the documentation process.
Unloading Unload supplier deliveries.
Process customer returns.
Photograph and document unloaded deliveries.
Identify and report damaged or non-compliant loads.
Safely unload oversized and non-standard palletised loads (up to 6 metres wide).
Skills & Attributes Candidates should demonstrate: Valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence.
Excellent trailer loading and spatial awareness.
Strong understanding of load planning and weight distribution.
Confidence handling oversized and unusual palletised freight.
Experience using tablets and handheld scanners.
Comfortable following digital documentation and photographic evidence procedures.
High attention to compliance and quality.
Ability to remain calm and accurate under trailer turnaround deadlines.
