Our client is a highly successful growing building contractor delivering commercial fit-out, refurbishment and construction projects across London, the Southeast and Midlands.

We are looking for a Project Manager to take full ownership of 35 live projects, from pre-start through to practical completion and defects.

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Company Vehicle & Fuel Card

The Role:

  • Managing projects from contract award through to completion and defects
  • Preparing and managing construction programmes, identifying and resolving delays
  • Leading client and design team meetings and providing progress reports
  • Coordinating design information, logistics and site set-up
  • Procuring and managing subcontract packages
  • Supporting estimating and tender submissions where required

About You:

  • We're looking for a hands-on, commercially aware Project or Site Manager with a minimum of 2 years' main contractor experience
  • Background in commercial fit-out and refurbishment
  • Experience managing projects between £100k - £5m
  • Understanding of CDM 2015
  • Experience managing programmes using Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project or similar
  • Ability to read drawings and specifications

Qualifications:

  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
  • Valid CSCS card or eligibility to obtain one
  • SMSTS training can be funded if required
  • First Aid and Asbestos Awareness training can also be provided
