If you're hands-on, adaptable, and keen to use your talents to improve homes and communities, this could be the perfect opportunity to take your next career step. This role also requires you to participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.

To be considered, you must specialise in one core trade: Plumbing, Carpentry or Plastering, and be highly competent in a second trade from the list. In addition, you should be able to undertake at least two further trades to a good standard, bringing flexibility, skill and problem-solving to every task. These trades include Bricklaying, Painting & Decorating and Groundwork/Fencing.

Our client is on the lookout for talented Multi-Skilled Operatives to join their team, helping them deliver top-quality repairs and maintenance that make a real difference in people's homes. They are currently recruiting a Multi-Skilled Operative who is passionate about their craft, takes pride in a job well done, and enjoys variety in their work.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Identify the right and cost-effective solutions to ensure repairs are completed to a high standard.
  • Liaise with others to organise jobs and maximise your working time.
  • Work in accordance with policies and procedures relating to safe working in customers' homes and public areas.
  • Follow the required processes when undertaking all work.

Essential:

  • Ability to fault find and accurately diagnose the repairs needed; decide the most efficient and effective value for money and arrange materials where needed.
  • City and Guilds in a relevant skill or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Competent in using an electronic personal digital assistant device to receive and record work.
  • Hold a full clean driving licence.
  • Willingness to maintain a satisfactory basic DBS check.
