Are you a creative, commercially minded Menswear & Boyswear Designer looking for your next exciting opportunity?

We're currently seeking an experienced designer to join a brilliant and fast-paced business supplying leading UK supermarkets and high-street retailers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the design process, with a particular focus on Jersey, developing innovative, commercially relevant product from initial concept and trend research right through to final production.

You'll play a key role in shaping product that is on-trend, customer-focused and commercially successful, working closely with internal teams and retail customers to bring your ideas to life.

Main Responsibilities
Research and interpret seasonal trends, colours, fabrics, and emerging consumer trends.

Develop creative concepts, mood boards, colour palettes and design direction.

Design and develop new products across menswear and boyswear.

Create detailed technical drawings, CADs and design packs.

Work closely with buying, merchandising and technical teams to develop commercially focused ranges.

Attend supplier and development meetings, providing clear design direction.

Select and develop fabrics, trims, prints, embroideries and other key product details.

Review samples and make amendments to ensure products meet the required design and quality standards.

Maintain awareness of competitors, market trends and customer preferences.

Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of design.

Contribute fresh ideas and newness to the wider design team.

Person Specification
Experienced in menswear and/or boyswear design , ideally within a fast-paced fashion environment.

Commercially aware, with a strong understanding of what sells and why.

Passionate about fashion, product and emerging trends.

Confident developing a product from initial concept through to production.

Strong in CAD and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.

Highly organised, detail focused and able to manage multiple deadlines.

A confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively.

Comfortable working with suppliers and manufacturing partners.

Creative, proactive and always looking for opportunities to improve and innovate.
