Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing and well established gardening business based in St Albans. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous gardening or landscaping experience who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in delivering high-quality work.

The Role

Working as part of a two-person team, you will travel to domestic and commercial properties across the local area, carrying out a variety of gardening and landscaping duties. Your van will be pre-loaded each morning, allowing you to head straight out to your scheduled jobs. You'll typically complete 2-6 jobs per day, depending on the size and nature of the work.

Key Responsibilities

  • General garden maintenance.
  • Lawn mowing, hedge cutting and pruning.
  • Planting, weeding and garden clearance.
  • Soft landscaping duties.
  • Working efficiently as part of a two-person team.
  • Driving a company manual van between customer locations.
  • Delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

Requirements

  • Full UK manual driving licence (essential).
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in gardening, grounds maintenance or landscaping.
  • Comfortable carrying out manual, outdoor work in all weather conditions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work to a high standard.
