We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in Watford for an experienced and talented Chef de Partie Pastry to join their award-winning pastry team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate pastry professional with luxury hotel experience who takes pride in producing high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods to exceptional standards.

The Role

As Chef de Partie within the Pastry Kitchen, you will be responsible for your section, supporting the preparation and presentation of outstanding pastry products for the hotel's restaurants, events, afternoon tea service, and other guest offerings. Working within a highly skilled brigade, you will play a key role in maintaining the quality, consistency, and creativity expected within a 5-star luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods to the highest standards.
  • Manage your designated pastry section during preparation and service.
  • Ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and portion control.
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
  • Support the development and training of junior team members.
  • Work closely with the wider kitchen brigade to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a luxury hotel pastry kitchen is essential.
  • Strong pastry and dessert preparation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and presentation.
