Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Systems Integration Engineer to be based at our customer's site in Gaydon.
Our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems & solutions.
Role Summary: We are seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to execute ECU Flashing and writing process documents on how to flash ECUs and release SW BOM for System Integration Team. In addition to this they should be able to own Vehicle issues and manage them end to end.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage software baselines and configurations
- Support end-to-end release planning, coordination, tracking, and deployment activities.
- Maintain release traceability and compliance documentation.
- Create and document test plans and test executions
- Update vehicles to approved software baselines.
- Develop ECU flashing procedures and work instructions.
- Deliver training, demonstrations, and knowledge transfer sessions to teams
- Document test results, generate technical reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Collect Vehicle logs
- Use of CAN / CANOE / INCA and associated Vector Tools
- Analyse issues in vehicles and carry out triaging to resolve the issues with stakeholder management
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
- Familiarity with vehicles
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
