We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to work with a well-established logistics company based in Foston, Derbyshire. This is a great opportunity for ongoing, full-time work.
As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for:
- Completing trailer swaps around the yard
- Operating curtain-side trailers, depending on the load
- Ensuring all paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately
- Maintaining professional standards and excellent customer service at all times
- High standard of safe system of work
Hours & Pay:
- Start Times: shifts 06:00 till 18:00 & 18:00 till 06:00
- Days: 4 ON / 4 OFF
- Shift Length: 12 hours per day
- Pay Rate: £16.00 Days per hour Mon - Fri (PAYE) / + Premium for weekends
- Pay Rate: £17.00 Nights per hour Mon to Fri (PAYE) / + Premium for weekends
- Weekly pay every Friday
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience with curtain-side trailers preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
