The AOG Specialist will be responsible for direct interaction with our customers, proactive customer service, problem solving, customer follow up, and interaction with our sales colleagues. The AOG Specialist is responsible for ensuring that our customers' experience is a positive one each and every time they engage with Kuehne + Nagel, as well as documenting and investigating any deviations from the expected level of service provided.
Note that this is a 4 on 4 off position (10:00 - 22:00h).
How you create impact:
- Pro-actively advise and consult customers to ensure satisfaction
- Monitor customer shipments, provide proactive updates and cover customs activities
- Document, investigate and conduct root cause analysis on deviations
- Manage tasks through Business Process Automation tools (BPA)
- Transfer customer requirements into KN systems for accurate cost control
- Field complaint calls and resolve problems
- Conduct claims management
- Ensure compliance with company, industry and legal standards as well as prepare and support audits
What we would like you to bring:
- Experience in freight forwarding or transport planning (airfreight focus) preferred
- Strong customer service orientation and good communication skills
- Ability to understand and execute new processes
- Excellent MS Office knowledge (especially Excel)
- Respect confidentiality and compliance regulations
- Ability to work independently in a team
