The Opportunity

Our client, an established M&E engineering specialist based in Warrington, is looking for a Revit MEP Technician to join their in-house design team. You would produce and coordinate detailed Revit models across mechanical, electrical and public health systems, turning engineering design intent into accurate, clash-free models that the delivery teams go on to install.

What makes the work different here is the environment. Much of the client's work is delivered into industrial, food and drink, FMCG and pharmaceutical facilities, often live production settings where plant density, process integration and access are far more demanding than a standard commercial model. Coordinating MEP services cleanly in that kind of space is a technical challenge, and it builds modelling experience that stands out.

Because the client is an M&E contractor rather than a pure design consultancy, your models feed directly into projects the same business installs and commissions, so you see how good coordination plays out on site rather than handing everything off.

About the Business

Our client is a well-established M&E engineering specialist with national reach and a strong North-West base. They design, build and maintain highly serviced, controlled and process-critical facilities, with mechanical, electrical, design and estimating capability all held in-house. Their Warrington operation works predominantly across industrial, food and drink, FMCG, pharmaceutical and process environments, much of it within live production facilities where the engineering has to accommodate hygiene standards, process constraints, shutdown windows and strict compliance. It is a technically demanding end of the market and a long way from standard commercial building services.

Accreditations include ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Design, estimating and delivery sit together in-house, so the technical teams work closely rather than at arms length from one another.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Producing and coordinating detailed Revit MEP models across mechanical, electrical and public health systems
  • Modelling building services within industrial and process environments, including plant-dense and live production settings
  • Working closely with the design engineers to translate design intent into accurate, buildable models
  • Coordinating models across disciplines and resolving clashes using Navisworks and associated BIM tools
  • Applying and maintaining BIM standards, templates and workflows
  • Producing high-quality drawings and documentation from concept through to construction
  • Reviewing and checking models and drawings to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance
  • Supporting coordination meetings and model reviews with the wider project team

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Revit technician within a building services or MEP environment
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with Revit MEP, ideally alongside AutoCAD and Navisworks
  • A good understanding of mechanical, electrical and public health building services systems
  • Experience modelling within industrial, process or production environments is an advantage
  • Familiarity with BIM standards and standard coordination and clash detection workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing accurate, well-coordinated models
  • The ability to work collaboratively with engineers, project teams and other disciplines
  • Full UK driving licence

What's on Offer

  • £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
  • Full company benefits package
  • Technically demanding modelling work in process and production environments
  • The satisfaction of seeing your models feed directly into projects the business installs and commissions
  • An established in-house design team with design, estimating and delivery working closely together
